Chats, folders and interface
• Added swipe navigation: All Chats → your folders → Contacts → Calls → Settings.
• Restored the standard Windows animation. Swipes also work in empty areas.
• Fixed blank pages, the selected folder getting out of sync, and taps taking you to the wrong section.
• Preview text no longer gets selected or intercepts taps when you try to open a chat.
• Improved chat list loading, archive previews and avatar updates.
• Poll previews now show the actual question instead of formattedText.
• Removed side margins from profiles, the member list and the Members / Media / Files… tabs.
• Fixed navigation back from proxy settings and overlapping phone number and QR login screens.
Formatting and custom emoji
• Expanded support for post formatting: headings, lists, tables, quotes, expandable blocks, code with a copy button, buttons and embedded media.
• Fixed combined text styles, spoilers, links, mentions and formatting preservation when copying and pasting.
• Fixed custom emoji in the chat list, media captions, outgoing messages and Saved Messages.
• Fixed single emoji appearing as an empty message bubble with a timestamp.
• Fixed emoji selection in the picker — repeated taps should no longer be needed.
• Emoji now take up space within the text line instead of being drawn over letters. Fixed wrapping and extra spacing.
• Fixed emoji positioning and clipping near the ellipsis in the chat list. Their custom IDs are preserved when loading and processing text.
Stickers, photos and reactions
• Improved TGS/WebM sticker playback after downloading and animation resuming after scrolling or returning to a chat.
• Added an alternative VP9 WebM decoding method for files the previous player couldn’t open.
• Limited repeated playback attempts for problematic files.
• Fixed cases where a sent photo disappeared after delivery confirmation or an album update.
• Fixed the positioning of your own channel posts, information beside stickers and comment buttons.
• Selecting a reaction should no longer open the keyboard when it was closed.
TG WS Proxy
• Improved media uploads, connection recovery after backgrounding the app and handling of dropped connections.
• Added temporary skipping of addresses that failed to connect, so subsequent attempts can use other addresses.
• Fixed the status display: a working connection should no longer appear unavailable because a separate check failed.
Calls and notifications
• Fixed history loading in the Calls tab.
• Improved switching between the earpiece, speakerphone, headset and Bluetooth in private and group calls.
• Adapted video preview and camera selection fixes for Windows 10 Mobile.
• Improved recording and playback of voice and video messages.
• Improved push notification registration, background sessions and connection maintenance.
• Added a system notification for incoming private calls with answer and decline buttons.
• Added avatars to notifications and the live tile.
Performance and stability
• Added automatic pausing of custom emoji when they are off-screen, in hidden sections or when the app is in the background. Animation resumes when you return.
• Added support for the animation autoplay setting.
• Removed some unnecessary layout recalculations and repeated media processing.
• Fixed an error when saving the app’s state during backgrounding.
• Updated the Russian and English translations and added more error details to the logs.
