New app! SpotiUWP is an unofficial Spotify client for Windows 10 Mobile, based on the modern librespot. A Premium account is required for all unofficial Spotify clients! Free and Lite accounts will not work! There may also be issues with India.
With Spotify Lite, you can play millions of songs, for free. The Spotify Lite app is small, so you'll save space on your phone, and save data when using it on the go.
Important note about statistics. The app does not send listening statistics to the Spotify server: which tracks you listened to, how long, and what you skipped. Therefore, listening through it does not affect recommendations and does not appear in your account history. This is done for account security: falsifying such data is one of the known causes of account blocking. Other unofficial clients based on librespot also behave this way. Likes and saves, however, are sent to your account as usual, and recommendations take them into account.
