MetroBox - VLESS VPN client

OS: Windows 10 version 1607 or Higher 

How to use:

0) After installing the app, add a VPN profile in Windows settings, selecting MetroBox as the provider. Fill in the "Connection name" and "Server name or address" fields with any text, and save it.

1) Get a subscription link from your VLESS VPN provider.

2) Copy it to your phone's clipboard (I sent it to myself via VK).

3) Click the plus sign in the app.

4) Select a live server, click it, and then click "Connect." You'll be taken to a list of VPNs. Select the one we created and click "Connect" from there. It's recommended to disconnect from there. Before changing servers or reconnecting, the app will close completely; this is by design.

Compatibility: Definitely works with Du**v VPN. I couldn't test it with anything else. Am**zia (versions with vless) won't work due to the forced xtls-rprx-vision (which interferes with Mux).

This hassle requires the user to manually create a profile, as otherwise traffic won't flow through the profile created by the app itself (or rather, it won't flow for most apps due to Windows' AppContainer isolation mechanism).

What's new

• gRPC transport for VLESS (with REALITY and TLS). Servers with gRPC from subscriptions are no longer marked as unsupported.

• After "Disconnect," the application remains open: you can immediately select a different server and connect. Previously, it would close.

• Closing MetroBox with the "X" in the task list disconnects the VPN.

Fixed:

• Error 691 when reconnecting - after disconnecting, after closing the application, and when changing servers.

• The tunnel no longer disconnects itself after several hours of operation.

• "Disconnect" now works even after a long period of phone inactivity, even if the system doesn't respond to the disconnect request.

• The server selected while the VPN is active no longer disrupts the current connection - it will be applied immediately after disconnecting.

• The selected server is no longer lost after updating the subscription.

• If there's a DNS failure, the tunnel no longer reverts to the address of the previous server.

• The button now shows the status of the tunnel (connecting, disconnecting) and doesn't require repeated presses. If the tunnel hasn't disconnected, the application will inform you and suggest opening the VPN settings.

• Logs are now more detailed: if something goes wrong, send them from the application - they now show what happened.
