THIS IS UNOFFICIAL YT MUSIC APP.

YouTube Music is Google's music app, allowing you to listen to over 70 million songs from your Windows phone device. From the app, you can listen to the latest releases from your favorite artists, live performances, special remixes, a wide variety of podcasts, and exclusive content you won't find on other music platforms.

Tip: Use a fresh Google account for the best experience.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Breaking Certificate Change ⚠️

Full disclosure: We had to generate a completely new digital certificate (.cer) for this update because... the developer forgot the password to the old .pfx file. 💀 Sorry about that! We've written it down this time!

Because of this new certificate, you CANNOT install this update over your existing installation.

To install v2.2.0 BETA:

1. You MUST uninstall the old version of YTMusicWP from your phone first (Note: this will clear your downloaded offline songs and local settings).

2. Install the new YTMusicWP_2.2.0.0.cer certificate HERE

3. Install the new YTMusicWP_2.2.0.0_ARM.appx.

NEW: WebView Cookie Authentication!

We've completely overhauled the login system. You can now log in directly via an in-app WebView (Cookie Auth), which is much more stable and bypasses many API limitations!

Create Real YouTube Playlists: Thanks to the new Cookie Auth, you can finally create actual playlists directly on YouTube's servers right from the app (previously restricted to offline/local playlists only).

Full support for Liking songs, adding to playlists, and Following/Unfollowing artists flawlessly via the new WebView login.

🎨 Home Page & UI Revamp:

Moods & Genres: The "Moods & Genres" discovery section has been moved directly to the Home tab for quicker access to curated music.

Redesigned Sections: "Quick Picks" now uses a cleaner 4-item vertical list layout, and Video recommendations now properly display stunning 16:9 widescreen thumbnails.

Infinite Scroll: Added infinite scrolling support for browsing large YouTube Playlists without hiccups.

🛠️ Bug Fixes & Under the Hood:

Fixed layout detection bugs on the Home page (e.g., incorrectly identifying "Recommended Albums" as Videos).

Added multiple fallback clients (including Piped) for the Stream API to ensure music plays reliably.
