Lamphead: Outrun the Darkness is a 2D endless runner where you play a mysterious character with a light on his head. You have to run non-stop through darkness, avoiding all the dangers along the way.

Your protagonist can’t jump to avoid the many obstacles he finds, but he can switch between planes. When you tap the screen, you change to the opposite plane, helping you to avoid the rocks, saws, spiders, and bats that block your path.

In addition to the obstacles in Lamphead: Outrun the Darkness, you can also find lots of other elements in each level. The most important things to collect are the batteries, which let you keep your character’s light lit and at full power. Of course, the brighter the light, the easier it is to see the obstacles coming your way.

Lamphead: Outrun the Darkness is a fun endless runner and platformer with an original approach and nice graphics. Plus, there are several alternate characters that can be unlocked with the coins you pick up during each game.
